THE REGGIO EMILIA FRAMEWORK

Unique Individuals with Incredible Potential

Verbatim — final copy

With an Early Childhood program inspired by the Reggio Emilia framework, students are supported socially, emotionally, and academically as they explore their self and their world. All our students are seen as unique individuals with incredible potential, and we journey alongside them each day in this era of monumental growth. You will see that the programs, learning spaces, and our passions are fully geared to nurture in each child a deep love of learning, and all the tools necessary for thriving in the elementary years ahead.

WHAT MAKES IT REGGIO

Three Pillars of the EEC

The Child as Protagonist

Children lead their own discovery — teachers observe, document and extend each child’s thinking. (Draft — standard Reggio principle, consistent with the verbatim text.)

Environment as Teacher

Learning spaces are “fully geared to nurture a deep love of learning” — purpose-built ateliers, light and open play areas.

Partnership with Parents

We journey alongside each family in this era of monumental growth — with the KG office as your direct contact.

Visit the EEC Before You Decide

Early Years tours run on school days — children are welcome to join the visit. Applications for Pre-K, KG1 and KG2 use the same form as the rest of the school, routed to the KG office.

EARLY YEARS FAQ

Common Questions, Answered

What ages do Pre-K, KG1 and KG2 accept?
Pre-K, KG1 and KG2 follow Ministry-aligned age bands (typically 3½–4, 4–5 and 5–6 by October 1st). Exact cut-off dates per year are confirmed by the KG office: [email protected]. [School to confirm dates]
Does my child join the American or British pathway after KG2?
Both are open: families choose the division at Grade 1 / Year 1 entry, with guidance from the KG and admissions teams. The Early Years program prepares children equally for either pathway.
How do you settle new children in?
Following the Reggio approach, teachers support each child socially and emotionally first — settling routines are agreed with parents in the first weeks, and the KG office stays in direct contact throughout. [Draft — school may refine]
